About

I’m Eason Zheng, a photographer and filmmaker interested in people, place, and the idea of home.

Growing up between different environments has made me pay attention to the small details that shape how people understand where they belong. Through photography and documentary film, I try to capture everyday moments, personal stories, and traditions that can easily be overlooked.

My recent work focuses on Inner Mongolia, where part of my family comes from. By photographing local life and documenting traditional practices, I began thinking more deeply about memory, cultural change, and my own connection to place.

For me, photography is not only about making an image. It is a way to observe, ask questions, and understand people and places more closely.
